Dr. Shapour Daniel Golshani completed his undergraduate studies in Biology, with emphasis in molecular biology and immunology at U.C.L.A. with top honors. He attended U.C. Irvine Medical School as a Regent’s Scholar. After receiving his medical degree (M.D.) he completed a 6 year residency in General Surgery at the LA County - U.S.C. Keck Medical Centers, and received the Chief Resident Teaching Award upon graduation. He next attended the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program at the University of California, San Francisco (U.C.S.F.), considered one of the top 3 programs in Plastic Surgery at the time. For his 9th year of surgical training, Dr. Golshani returned to U.S.C. as a Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellow under Dr. Randy Sherman. During his training and 25 years of private practice , Dr. Golshani is grateful to have had the privilege of working closely with many of the stalwart Masters of surgery and plastic surgery in the United States and Europe. After 25 years of private practice, Dr. Golshani uses many of these acquired skills and techniques, as well as many developed by himself to deliver the best of the science and the art of Aesthetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He received certification by the American Board of Surgery, maintains certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
